MLL 341 - Spanish Conversation


Units: 4
A practical application of Spanish to present-day experiences. Designed to develop advanced oral communication skills. Emphasis on increasing vocabulary, accuracy and grammatical control.

Prerequisites: MLL 343.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MLL 3410.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Students will be able to express themselves with sufficient accuracy and clarity to carry on conversations in Spanish with native speakers and to give oral presentations appropriate to advance level.
  2. Students will be able to express orally with a fair amount of sophistication, integrating readings into conversational assignments.
  3. Students will acquired knowledge of the cultural diversity of the Spanish-speaking world while developing an appreciation of the cultural contributions of the Spanish speaking world to the body of universal culture.
