MLL 343 - Spanish Composition and Syntax Units: 4 Written Spanish and formal grammar applied to advanced composition in the language.
Prerequisites: MLL 242. Equivalent Quarter Course: MLL 3401 or MLL 3402. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Students will be able to produce the types of writing required at the university level (description, narration, exposition/explanation, argumentation), with a fair amount of sophistication, integrating research information into written assignments while giving adequate credit to the sources of information used.
- Students will review grammar applied to composition while working in sentence structure and syntax.
- Students will acquired knowledge in the mechanics of writing: punctuation, paragraphing, orthography, stylistics, etc.
