GEOG 320 - Environmental Resource Analysis Units: 4 Quantitative methods in environmental and resource studies.
Prerequisites: CHEM 100 and STAT 100. Equivalent Quarter Course: ENVT 3400. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Cross-listed: ENVT 320 Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Quantitatively evaluate and compare environmental and resource impacts and mitigation approaches using the following tools and methods:
- Computer spreadsheets for data handling, analysis and plotting,
- Statistical methods to environmental problems;
- Mathematical and scientific concepts specific to environment and resource issues such as energy, climate, water, and pollution emissions,
- Financial analysis methods relevant to environmental projects
