MGMT 400 - Seminar on Special Topics in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior Units: 3 In-depth examination of a specific best practice or current issue in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior, such as managing diversity, global leadership, leading change and transformation, organizational development, organizational design, high performance management.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MGMT 3612. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate an understanding of the HRM/OB topics being discussed in the course.
- Conduct quality research on the HRM/OB topic at hand to develop and design HRM/OB practices and/or systems in multicultural organizations, and present it to an informed audience.
- Instructors must develop at least three subject matter specific SLOs for the selected topic of the course - e.g. managing diversity, international leadership, leading change
