Social construction of gender and sexuality development and its influence on lifespan identity. Respect and understand gender identity spectrum and sexual fluidity. Integrates cultural, spiritual, physical ability, chronic illness, SES, and social/institutional privilege influences on diagnoses and healthcare service access.

To review how clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds view sexuality and gender.
To practice a professional approach to the wide variety of sexual behaviors, attitudes, and values you are likely to encounter in your client population, regardless of your own sexual values.
