TED 626 - Advanced Studies in Curriculum and Instruction


Units: 3
Principles and practices of curriculum and instruction.  Critical examination and analysis of the components.  Develop and implement curricular recommendations in a classroom setting.

Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Explore models, philosophy and theoretical dimensions of curriculum and instruction.
  2. Understand role of goals, objectives, assessment and products in curriculum.
  3. Select and implement strategies of instruction.
  4. Evaluate, reflect, and make future recommendations of curriculum for students.
