Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Master calculations of basic aquifer parameters using Darcy’s Law and the advection-dispersion equation.
  2. Practice setting up initial and boundary conditions in various geologic settings for development of a numerical flow model.
  3. Critically evaluate scientific literature from well-studied contaminated groundwater sites.
  4. Explore the transport properties of various groundwater contaminants.
