COMM 685 - Future of Media and Society

Study of the landscape of current and future media with the aim of creating stories about emerging media. Covers short, medium and long-term evolution in technology and culture. Uses scenario planning as a technique for considering complex, unpredictable interrelationships.

Grading: A-F grading only.

Analyze significant trends about media and digital culture.
Provide evidence-based claims addressing the future of media.

Identify and explain different rates of societal and natural change over time as they relate to organizational transformation.
