ITM 336 - Information Systems Development and Management Units: 3 Developing information systems including systems planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Primary emphasis on learning and practicing techniques and processes used by system analysts at each phase within a system development lifecycle.
Prerequisites: ITM 300. Equivalent Quarter Course: ITM 4277. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Describe software development tasks and different approaches to software development;
- Utilize design methodologies and modeling techniques to develop an information system;
- Develop project plans, and understand how to organize, direct, and control a project for software development or implementation.
