COMM 362 - User Experience Research and Design

Theories and principles of human-centered design for effective communication. Possible topics include usability testing and design across multimedia platforms from mobility, tangibility and ubiquitous applications to human-future interaction.

Co-requisites:    
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Understand theories, concepts and principles of human-computer interaction and human-centered design;
  2. Demonstrate basic knowledge of user experience research methods;
  3. Demonstrate technical competence in user-centered design.
