BAN 670 - Advanced Topics in Analytics Units: 3 Recent development in various topics of analytics, which include, but not limited to, advanced data visualization, machine learning, text mining and web analytics, natural language processing, and industrial applications of data analytics.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: College Algebra, Statistics and Object-Oriented Programming. Prerequisites: BAN 601 and BAN 602. Repeatability: May be repeated twice for credit for a maximum of 9 units. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify most recent developments in one or more subfields of business analytics.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to solve business problems.
- Utilize advanced analytics software to implement advanced analytics techniques and methods.
