CMGT 410 - Building Information Modeling

An introduction to Building Information Modeling (BIM) for design error detection and construction process improvement.

Prerequisites: CMGT 142.
Equivalent Quarter Course: CMGT 4100.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Spring ONLY


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Identify the current technologies in BIM and apply to MEP systems;
  2. Apply principles of BIM and incorporate them into current project in AEC industries;
  3. Develop independent and teamwork skills of BIM, and the know-how of information visualization in construction graphics.
