MGMT 362 - Service Management Units: 3 Interdisciplinary frameworks, theories and research methods used in the design and analysis of contemporary service systems. Topics include service concept and strategy, design of service delivery, service quality, relevant skills, impact of technology, and social impact.
Prerequisites: Completion of GE areas A1, A2 and A3. Equivalent Quarter Course: MGMT 4625. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate familiarity and a working knowledge of the principles and practice of operations management in the service industry.
- Define terminology and outline applications and tools that are essential for managing operations in the service industry.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods and software applications in managing service operations.
