ART 493D - 3D Art & Design Senior Project

Units: 3
Students produce a capstone project reflecting mastery of their respective concentration. Students develop a professional portfolio and career documents, and prepare to transition to postgraduate life.

Prerequisites: B.F.A. major, senior standing and ART 418.
Equivalent Quarter Course: ART 4720 and ART 4730.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Produce 3D art and/or design at a professional level;
art and/or design at a professional level; 2. Demonstrate mastery of the key concepts and techniques of 3D practice; 3. Envision a sophisticated piece or body of work, write and present a proposal, plan and execute a steady practice to realize the work and present it to an audience;
Develop materials (cover letter, CV, portfolio, et) necessary for successful advancement in the field;
Anticipate and plan a course of professional development, including interviews, grant applications, competition entries, and graduate school applications.
