KIN 697 - Contemporary Issues in Kinesiology

Selected topics on issues of contemporary importance in kinesiology.

Credit Restrictions: Open to Kinesiology majors only.
Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 6700.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 8 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Evaluate contemporary theories, scientific applications, and ethical considerations in Kinesiology.
  2. Interpret and apply research on contemporary issues within Kinesiology.
  3. Develop research questions using theoretical and applied knowledge.
  4. Analyze contemporary issues in Kinesiology through the application of knowledge and research.
