REC 650 - Fiscal Management in Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Units: 3 Fiscal management for profit, nonprofit, and public agencies. Topics include budgeting, forecasting, product development, pricing, methods of financing, and long-range fiscal planning.
Prerequisites: Department consent. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify principles of demand management as related to the learners organization.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current principles through development of an action plan for the learner’s organization.
- Construct a model for a high functioning organization including fiscal management, product development and marketing and long range fiscal planning.
