HDEV 452 - Intimate Relationships Across the Lifespan


Units: 4
Nature and structure of parent-child, friendship, and sexual love relations.  Developmental changes during childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age.

Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing.
Equivalent Quarter Course: HDEV 4430.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground, or Entirely Online, or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Understand how individuals experience intimate relationships during the lifetime.
  2. Understand the myriad forms of intimate relationships that occur.
  3. Learn about the effects of culture, time, and place on intimate relationships.
