SLHS 407 - Clinical Methods and Diagnostics


Units: 3
Basic principles of client assessment, treatment and management, including designing therapy hierarchies, collecting data, working with families, reinforcing correct behavior and documenting outcomes. Lab observation assignment required.

Prerequisites: SLHS 301, SLHS 302, SLHS 304, SLHS 305, SLHS 402, SLHS 403, SLHS 404, senior standing, and declared major in B.S. Speech Pathology and Audiology, or admitted graduate student.
Equivalent Quarter Course: SPPA 4852 and SPPA 4854.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
