SOC 350 - Sociology of Immigration Units: 4 ; G.E./G.R. Area: Diversity The political, cultural and social dynamics of immigration to the U.S. Topics include processes of settlement and incorporation; institutional responses to immigration; prejudice and discrimination against immigrants; immigration, social and personal identity; and intergenerational tensions.
