MLL 151 - Elementary Japanese I

The first semester of a one-year sequence. Develops four basic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing (Hiragana, Katakana and Basic Kanji) in modern Japanese. Emphasis on grammatical accuracy, socially appropriate language use, and cultural understanding.

Equivalent Quarter Course: MLL 1801 and MLL 1802.
