MLL 443 - Survey Spanish Literature I: Medieval and Golden Age Units: 3 ; G.E./G.R. Area: C4 Survey of Spanish literature from the Middle Ages to 1700. Socio-political, aesthetic, philosophical, and literary ideas studied through readings and major works from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Taught in Spanish, readings in Spanish and English.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division Area C requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 with grade C- (CR) or better. Equivalent Quarter Course: MLL 4457. Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). G.E./G.R. Area Satisfied: C4 - Upper Division Arts or Humanities Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
