Examination of the process of planning, promoting, marketing, budgeting and implementing meetings, conventions, expositions and special events, including trade and consumer shows. Each industry segment and its relationship to other segments is reviewed, after which the entire industry is examined. Prerequisites: REC 1000 , HOS 1100 , REC 2050 , REC 2400 or REC 3000 or permission of instructor. (Formerly REC 4530.)
