Provides opportunity for students intending to become music teachers to develop rehearsal techniques, organizational procedures related to public school band and orchestra programs; become familiar with public school teaching materials; further develop conducting techniques; and improve secondary instruments skills.

Prerequisites: MUS 341.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MUS 4435.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
