MATH 6750 - Topics in Advanced Numerical Analysis Units: 4 Topics selected from approximation theory; spline theory; numerical linear algebra; the algebraic eigenvalue problem; numerical solutions to non-linear systems of equations, partial differential equations, and boundary value problems. Prerequisites: MATH 4750 and MATH 3301 or instructor’s permission. Cross-listed: CS 6750 . Repeatability: May be repeated two times for credit with consent of Mathematics Graduate Studies Committee and when content varies, for a maximum of 12 units.
