SPPA 600 - Foundations of Clinical Practicum
Units: 2
Basic principles of clinical management, including foundations of therapy, performance analysis, professional documentation, development of therapeutic hierarchies, cueing, data collection, behavior management, reinforcements and caregiver training. Emphasis on clinical/professional writing. Please note: effective spring 2019 this course prefix will change from SPPA to SLHS.
Prerequisites: Admission to M.S. Speech-Language Pathology program.
Co-requisites: SPPA 694.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
