Continuation of MUS 414. Scoring for larger combinations of Western classical music forces such as string orchestra, wind ensemble, and orchestra. Overview of the development of the orchestra from the romantic period to the present.

Prerequisites: MUS 212 and MUS 414.
Equivalent Quarter Course: MUS 4075.
Possible Instructional Methods: Entirely On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
