Introduction

The College of Education and Allied Studies (CEAS) provides programs that educate and prepare leaders who serve and contribute to the quality of life for individuals and communities. Graduates from CEAS lead schools and school districts as teachers and counselors, school psychologists, and school administrators. Our graduates also organize community park and recreation programs, and manage hotels and restaurants. Other graduates from CEAS become athletic trainers, physical and recreational therapists, and marriage and family therapists. Programs are offered in a variety of formats including activity classes, on-site internships, traditional face-to-face classes, fully on-line courses, and hybrid courses that combine on-line and face-to-face instruction. CEAS also recognizes the need for balance in our lives; therefore, our college provides a full range of physical activity courses from Pilates to swimming, adventure recreation to taekwondo, and volleyball to weight training.

All educator credentials offered by CEAS are accredited by California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
